Men who failed to meet their tax of 80% are in court receiving their punishments. Slavery having been banned in the matriarchal society the men are allowed to work same jobs as women, however they earn only a fraction of what women earn and have to pay a tax of 80% while women pay nothing. A lot of men are failing to earn enough to meet their bills and taxes and end up in court desperately pleading their case in front of all female court, but judges are merciless and frequently sentence men to lifetime of hard labor in mines.
